Class 4 practice tests
Planning to transport people? A class 4 restricted licence to transport up to 10 people (including the driver) and work for ride-hailing companies, drive a taxi or ambulance will be required. A class 4 unrestricted licence to transport up to 25 people (including the driver) will be required to work as a shuttle bus driver for daycares, care homes or HandyDART.
Your first step in achieving either the class 4 restricted or unrestricted licence will be to obtain a class 4 learner's licence by taking the ICBC knowledge test. You can prepare for your upcoming knowledge test by studying the required chapters for class 4 in the ICBC Driving Commercial Vehicles manual and then testing your knowledge with our online practice tests. The practice test is great tool to prepare you for the written part of ICBC Learners licence testing.
Our in-house education department has prepared hundreds of questions, comparable to the questions ICBC will use on the official class 4 knowledge test, to test your understanding of BC's road rules and regulations while transporting people. Feel free to take the practice test as many times as you would like!
The practice test features a Resources section, where you can find excerpts from the Driving Commercial Vehicles manual, to clarify any subject material included on the practice test questions.
Need more practice? We offer unique one-on-one or small group training sessions to help provide drivers with an understanding of the course material and key concepts required for the successful completion of the ICBC knowledge test. You can also try other knowledge tests for even more preparation!
