At Valley Driving School, our top priority is safety and education. But that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate a little fun and incredible skill behind the wheel – we enjoy watching driving videos of all kinds, from professional drifting to F1 racing, and a little of everything in between. Driving for sport can evoke a level of exhilaration and bliss that is rarely replicated. As Instructors, we work to hone our skills to ensure our driving is top notch and that we follow the law to the letter. But that doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate the wilder side of driving!
While the winter holiday season of 2020 will see most of us staying home and keeping our bubble closed, it does provide a chance for reminiscing and remembering some of our favourite winter road trip memories.
This week, we sat down with some team members to write about some favourite times we’ve had over past Decembers.
With Christmas just a week away, many of us already have our houses decorated, our offices decorated, and our trees are trimmed, but how many of us have our vehicles decorated! While not all of our staff participates in decorating our vehicles, we all have our favourites that we’ve seen on the road.
Another cold winter has come to British Columbia, but the team here at Valley Driving School is prepared! If you’re not feeling prepared for this winter, we’ve gathered some favourite winter vehicle accessories from across our offices to share with you. These accessories also make great last minute gifts if you still have someone to check off your Christmas gift list!

I had 5 lessons with my Instructor and he was incredible, clear instructions and always updated on things I needed to do better right when they happened.
It felt like he wanted me to succeed not only because its part of his job, but because he genuinely wanted me to. The cost of the lessons were minimal in comparison to everything I have learned and I passed my road test on my first attempt.
