Tips for Being a Safe Pedestrian

Pedestrians are road users too, so we should incorporate their safety and well-being into everything we talk about when it comes to road safety. Pedestrians have an increased risk of harm, due to the lack of safety features surrounding them like drivers and vehicle passengers have. Road infrastructure is being made safer for pedestrians every year but, even in marked crosswalks and sidewalks, there are high risks to pedestrians that are close to any roadway.

Drivers Guide to Vehicle Recalls

Did you know that an estimated 1 in 5 vehicles on Canadian roads have unfixed or open safety recalls? This means they’ve been deemed unfit to drive by their manufacturers! We’re here to clear up any confusion surrounding vehicle recalls; what they are, how to check if your vehicle has any, what to do, and who pays for the fix.

Driving Tips for Seniors

As we get older, it’s important to keep tabs on our overall well being and driving abilities, as well as the adjustments we can make to ensure we’re both comfortable and safe on the road. Motor vehicle accidents have been found to take a larger toll on our bodies in old age and can sometimes affect us to a degree where we’re no longer able to drive, and we become dependent on others to get us around.

What To Do When You Witness An Accident

Driving can be a stressful experience. Heavy traffic, speeders, weather conditions, and so many other factors can have an impact on our comfort level behind the wheel. For many of us, the ultimate stress factor behind the wheel is fear of getting into an accident. While most of us have thought about what to do if it happens to us, we don’t often consider what to do if we witness an accident.

"A special “Thank You” to you. From what I was told, you never let my daughter put her guard down. Good for you.

I appreciate all the hard work and dedication you’ve given to my daughter. I will recommend Valley Driving School to as many people as I can.

Again, “Thank You” to everyone. Who knows…maybe my daughter will be back for other types of drivers training ie: motorcycle, standard, or even semi-trucks. Could happen. She ‘loves’ to drive.

Best regards"
